For the third consecutive week, the South Dakota State University football team will face a ranked conference opponent, traveling Saturday to meet Youngstown State.
Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. Eastern Time (3 p.m. Central) at Stambaugh Stadium in Youngstown, Ohio. The game will be available for viewing on ESPN3.com. The game can be heard on 570 WNAX and across the Jackrabbit Football Network.
The Jackrabbits enter Saturday’s contest with a 4-1 overall record and 1-1 mark in the Missouri Valley Football Conference following a 24-7 home victory over No. 19/21 Indiana State on Oct. 10. SDSU rose slightly to seventh in both Football Championship Subdivision polls this week, gaining one spot in the STATS media poll and two spots in the FCS coaches’ poll.
Youngstown State has compiled a 3-2 overall record so far in 2015 and is 1-1 in the MVFC. The Penguins, ranked 11th by the media and 12th by the FCS coaches, dropped a 31-29 decision to nationally ranked Illinois State last weekend.
