.South Dakota State University women’s golfers Sydney MacDonald and Hallie Getz earned All-Summit League honors Sunday.
League officials announced various awards prior to Monday’s start of the 2015 Summit League Women’s Golf Championships at the Bayonet Golf Course.
MacDonald, a junior from Calgary, Alberta, earned second-team all-league for the second consecutive year. She is second on the team with a 76.46 stroke average and has five rounds at par-or-below this season. MacDonald enters the championship with four top-five and six top-10 finishes this season.
Getz, a sophomore from Pierre, earned her first all-league honor as she was named second team. She leads SDSU with a 76.18 stroke average and has three top-10 finishes this year.
