South Dakota State and South Dakota continue to win football games and gain additional attention from the national FCS polls.
SDSU has sole possession of the lead in the Missouri Valley Football Conference after beating Youngstown State Saturday. The Jacks are ranked #7 in the STATS FCS ratings and tenth in the FCS Coaches Poll.
South Dakota is just one game back while sharing second place in the league and the Coyotes are ranked 25th in the Coaches poll. It’s the first time they have been ranked in the top 25 since joining the MVFC.
North Dakota State remains the highest rated conference team as the Bison sit at #4 in both polls.
Sam Houston State, the only unbeaten FCS squad, remains #1 in both polls.
