For the third home game in a row and the third time in four weeks, the South Dakota State Jackrabbits will play a game at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium with Football Championship Subdivision playoff implications.
Saturday, SDSU hosts Northern Iowa on Senior Day in a battle between two teams in the FCS top 10.
Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. The game can be heard on 570 WNAX.
The Jackrabbits, 7-3 overall and 4-2 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference have dropped their last two home games, falling to top-ranked North Dakota State, 23-16, on Oct. 26, followed by a 27-18 setback to then-No. 11/12 Illinois State last week.
SDSU dropped from fourth in last week’s rankings to eighth in the STATS FCS media poll and ninth in the most recent FCS coaches’ rankings.
Northern Iowa, meanwhile, has won its last four games to enter Saturday’s matchup with a 7-3 overall record and a second-place mark of 5-1 in the MVFC standings. The Panthers find themselves fourth in the media poll and fifth in the coaches’ poll.
