The South Dakota State University football team will make its seventh consecutive appearance — and eighth in 10th seasons — in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs by hosting Duquesne in second-round action Saturday afternoon.

Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. The game can be heard on 570 WNAX.

The fifth-seeded Jackrabbits earned a top-eight seed and first-round bye for the third year in a row after compiling an 8-2 overall record that included a runner-up mark of 6-2 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Duquesne enters Saturday’s game with a 9-3 overall record and in the midst of a six-game winning streak. The Dukes, who claimed the Northeast Conference’s automatic berth with a 5-1 record in league play, advanced to the second round by scoring the final 31 points in a 31-10 victory at Towson in opening-round play Nov. 24.
