South Dakota State University head coach John Stiegelmeier announced Wednesday that 21 high school standouts, including five in-state recruits, signed a National Letter of Intent, indicating they will join the Jackrabbit football program.

“Our football staff is very excited about the addition of this recruiting class. We have filled our needs with a collection of great student athletes, most of them being from the region,” Stiegelmeier said. “This class is made up of those signing national letters of intent but also a great non-scholarship group of student-athletes. The efforts of our assistant coaches, athletic support staff and many SDSU professors made the difference this recruiting season. We look forward to great things from the 2015 recruiting class.”
