South Dakota State University women’s basketball coach Aaron Johnston announced Tuesday the hiring of Megan Lueck as an assistant coach.

Lueck spent last season at Florida State, serving as the video coordinator for a squad that posted a 26-7 record and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to arriving at Florida State, Lueck spent the 2015-16 season as the women’s basketball video coordinator at Vanderbilt University.

A native of Winona, Minnesota, Lueck began her collegiate coaching career by spending a year and a half at Mercer University as a graduate assistant.

A four-year letterwinner at the University of Minnesota-Duluth from 2010-14, Lueck was the Bulldogs’ captain in 2013-14 and a three-time NSIC All-Academic Team member.
