South Dakota State’s Cody Pack has been named the Western Wrestling Conference Wrestler of the Week for his dual-clinching win over Air Force’s Josh Kreimier on Sunday

Pack, who is ranked 17th in InterMat’s latest rankings, set the tone in the first period with a takedown and a three-point nearfall against Kreimier and ended up winning, 8-5. This was Pack’s first-career win over Kreimier, who pinned and teched him last season.

Pack is now 18-6 on the year, including a 5-1 dual mark and is 2-0 in the WWC.

SDSU (3-3, 2-0 WWC) sits atop the WWC with an unblemished 2-0 mark.

The Jacks return to action this weekend with a pair of non-conference duals against No. 5 Northern Iowa and Ohio (RV) in Cedar Falls, Iowa in UNI’s West Gym.
