It was a successful weekend for South Dakota State women’s golfer Teresa Toscano.

The junior-to-be Toscano captured the Campeonatos Andalucia Singles Championship in Spain with a three-round 222 (73-74-75). For the tournament, she was three over on the front and back nine.

On the men’s side, Jackrabbit junior-to-be Jacob Otta was runner-up at the South Dakota Golf Association 98th Annual Men’s Match Play Championship. He lost 4 up to TJ Nolan.

In the women’s SDGA 45th Annual Match Play Championship, former Jackrabbit Hallie Getz won the women’s title, 4 and 3, while incoming Jackrabbit Sydney Wirebaugh won the Women’s Consolation Bracket 2 and 1.
