This is Severe Weather Awareness Week across South Dakota. It’s mostly used as a reminder of what weather terms, like watch and warnings mean, and for public agencies to run through emergency plans.

A test tornado watch and warning will be issues Wednesday morning across the state. Many schools will also run through their storm plans at the same time.
