Soybean Cyst Nematode is becoming more of a problem for farmers to control as it’s spreading widely across the Upper Midwest. Iowa State University Plant Pathology and Microbiology Professor Greg Tylka says it’s also becoming resistant to soybean varieties.

He says producers need to soil sample as their first step in handling S-C-N.

Tylka says farmers must think more about how they will manage soybean cyst nematode.

Tylka will be sharing his management ideas and the latest S-C-N information at a field day at the Research Farm near Kanawha on June 23.
