This week, Vice President Mike Pence called on Congress to quickly pass the USMCA trade agreement after the recess. He says passing the USMCA would strengthen the President’s hand in negotiations with China. Iowa Soybean Association President Lindsay Greiner agrees.

He says the USMCA is very important for America’s soybean growers and passing it would send a good signal to China that would hopefully lead to the end of the trade war.

Greiner says all of U.S. agriculture could use the good news that a positive trade deal like USMCA would bring.

Greiner says if the U.S. can get USMCA ratified it’ll send a message to our other trading partners and help get them to the table on other trade deals.
