President Donald Trump in a visit to Dubuque, Iowa last week said he’s very close to moving ahead on year round E15 sales. Iowa Renewable Fuels Association
Executive Director Monte Shaw says the President needs to follow through on his commitment to renewable fuels and tell the EPA to lift the Reid Vapor Pressure rule to allow year round use of E15.

He says action needs to be taken soon to not only allow year round use of E15 but also a fix for the damage caused by the granting of a large number of RFS waivers.

Shaw is also concerned at comments made last week by the Interim EPA administrator on moving forward with a package deal that involves allowing year round use of E15 as a trade off for allowing RINS on exports.

Shaw says it’s time for the President to make things right for agriculture.
