Iowa’s Megan Gustafson has won The Associated Press women’s basketball player of the year award.

Baylor’s Kim Mulkey is the AP women’s coach of the year.

Gustafson led the nation in scoring for the second straight season averaging 27.9 points and tied the NCAA mark for double-doubles in a single season.

Mulkey also earned coach of the year honors in 2012. She has led Baylor to a 35-1 record, a No. 1 ranking and a spot in the Final Four.
