Iowa Soybean Association President Brian Kemp who farms near Sibley just returned this week following a ten day trade mission to China.  Kemp says China has been and continues to be an important customer of Iowa and U.S. soybeans.

Kemp says the Chinese are also very interested in U.S. soybean meal for livestock feed.

Kemp who’s gone to China on two previous trips says their farmers and consumers share many of the same concerns U.S. farmers and consumers have.

He says on this recent mission his group spent most of their time in Northern China and in Mongolia.
