Iowa Senator Says Budget Deal Needed Ahead Of Tax Reform Bill

The overall federal budget must be worked out before the Senate can move ahead with passing tax reform legislation. That’s according to Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley who supports tax reform.

Earlier President Trump tweeted that Congress isn’t moving fast enough on tax reform. Grassley says there’s a lot of work being done behind the scenes on it.

Grassley has no problem with the President putting heat on Congress to get moving on a tax reform package.

Grassley says any final tax reform bill must simplify the tax code and include elimination of the estate tax.
