The Republican majority in the U.S. Senate means some new priorities for agricultural issues. That’s according to Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley who says he sees movement on everything from trade to tax legislation to the farm bill to nutrition.
Grassley says he also thinks there will be movement to curtail over regulation from EPA that is potentially harmful to agriculture.
Grassley also thinks there will be a lot of discussion regarding volume levels for the Renewable Fuel Standard that EPA has yet to release.
