The 2022 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit was held last Tuesday in downtown Des Moines. The day was full of exciting speakers and roundtable discussions on top-of-mind issues impacting the biofuels industry. With this being the 20th year of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association or IRFA there was plenty to celebrate and to reflect on. IRFA president Devin Mogler took the time to reflect on this milestone.

IRFA Executive Director Monte Shaw in his “State of the Iowa Industry” address focused on 2021 ethanol production for the state and the positives he saw.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds also spoke at the event and talked about the introduction of her new biofuels access bill.

The date for the 2023 summit is set for January 24th.  To see full-length keynote addresses and round table discussions from the summit you can find it at www.iowarenewablefuelssummit.org or search up Iowa renewable fuels on YouTube.
