Nevada, Iowa renewable fuel retailer Charlie Good met with President Trump last week to talk about the Renewable Fuel Standard. The meeting include Iowa Senators Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley and Texas Senator Ted Cruz. Good says it appears the RVP will be lifted to allow E15 sales year-round, but there will be some type of cap on the RINs. A follow up meeting is scheduled to work on the details.

Good says he told the President if he puts a cap on RINs it will harm the RFS.

Good says after President Trump left the meeting, he spoke with Vice President Mike Pence about his concerns.

Good says Senator Grassley believes its imperative ethanol supporters flood the White House with their concerns over a RINs cap.
