Iowa Pork Producers Association is looking for the next generation of leaders to join the upcoming class of the Iowa Pork Leadership Academy.  Cory Van Gilst serves as the Iowa Pork Producers’ Producer Outreach Director.  He says it is both easy and difficult locating leaders for the pork organization. Van Gilst says leadership academy students will learn the issues affecting the pork industry, as well as visit with government officials.  The Iowa Pork Producers Association official expands with his comments with some specifics about the leadership development program.  Van Gilst says there is no charge for the leadership academy class, however, applications must be submitted to the Iowa Pork Producers Association no later than November 30th.
