The lawsuit filed by Environmental and Animal Rights groups against EPA is pointless. That’s according to Iowa Pork Producer Association President Dave Struthers. He says CAFO operations have been operating properly and EPA has no reason to fine them or institute more stricter regulations.
Struthers says the group’s pushing the legal action are off base and there is no scientific evidence to support their claims.
Struthers who raises hogs in Story County in Central Iowa says producers value the health and safety of their families, employees and neighbors and would do nothing to jeopardize that.
