Iowa Legislature Approves Sports Betting and Industrial Hemp Bills

Iowa lawmakers passed a bill this session legalizing sports betting and allowing casinos to add it to their gambling offerings.

Senator Randy Feenstra of Hull says it took a while to find agreement…

Feenstra says it won’t be a big money maker for the state..

Governor Kim Reynolds has not yet signed the bill.

Legislators also approved an industrial hemp program.
