Iowa State lawmakers wrapped up their 2019 legislative session over the weekend. Iowa Soybean Association Public Affairs Director Michael Dolch says it was a successful session for the state’s soybean farmers, as well as the Association.

He says for the passage of the Ag Trespass Bill or ag-gag law is positive for both Iowa livestock and grain producers.

Dolch says even though activists are challenging the Ag Trepass Law in court, he believes it will hold up.

Dolch says they’re hoping to see further progress made on the property tax front next session.
