Iowa Hunters May Have New Challenges in Coyotes

Iowa hunters who are looking for something to do after the deer season is finally done have been turning to hunting coyotes.   State furbearer biologist, Vince Evelsizer, says it offers a new challenge to hunters.

Some of the coyote hunters are looking to make a little money off the pelts.

The average price for a coyote pelt was 17 dollars last year.  Coyotes can be trapped or hunted, and there is no limit. Most of the coyotes are concentrated in western Iowa.
