The Iowa Republican Party’s governing board has unanimously voted to reelect Jeff Kaufmann as party chairman for another two years. Kaufmann, a former state legislator from Wilton, has held the job since the middle of 2014. He’s set a goal of raising a million dollars as quickly as he can THIS year to prepare for the 2018 election.

Kaufmann’s also hoping to target Dave Loebsack (LOHB-sack), the only Democrat who remains in Iowa’s congressional delegation.
Kaufmann also promised members of the Iowa G-O-P’s state central committee that he’ll be an “aggressive” leader for the next two years.https://soundcloud.com/wnax-radio/kaufmann-130b
