The Iowa Republican Party’s chairman says he’s “worried” some of the new voters who President Trump attracted to the G-O-P in 2016 may not vote in 2018 because of inaction in congress.

Iowa G-O-P chairman Jeff Kaufmann addressed the Westside Conservative Breakfast Club in Urbandale.

Kaufmann warns the “climate” for Republican candidates in the 2018 election will be affected, because of how the new “Trump voters” in the G-O-P may react.

Kaufmann says he’s trying to “set the example” of being a staunch supporter of President Trump and he hopes the message reaches the “new Trump voters” in Iowa who aren’t following the hour-by-hour details of the congressional debate.
