Iowa FFA Receives Gift of One Million Dollars

Last week was National FFA Week and the Iowa FFA Association received a pledge gift of one million dollars.  That gift was presented by the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation.  Josh Remington is the executive director of the Iowa FFA Foundation and explains what the gift means to the agricultural youth organization,

Remington says the money will be divided to help fund traditional programs, but part of it will go towards a new fund.

The Iowa FFA Foundation executive explains the “all in for ag education” program.

Remington says some of the money will go towards the recruitment and retention of agricultural educators.
