A couple from Le Mars, Iowa have received the 2021 IPPA Pork All- American award. Matt and Angie Schnepf own and operate a 10,000 hog wean to finish operation in addition with some row crop ground. The IPPA Pork All-American award was established in 1970 to honor producers 40 years of age or younger who have established themselves as community leaders and successful and dedicated business people. Angie says the award is the result of a lifetime of hard work.

Matt also notes that to get this award you must have been previously named a Master Pork Producer.

Angine says their sons stay active on the farm helping with all aspects of the operation.

The two are members of the Plymouth County Pork Producers and Matt serves as the chairman of membership.
