Lawsuits have already been filed against the new public collective bargaining law in Iowa, and more are expected.
The legislature passed, and the Governor signed the bill last week, which allows public employee unions to only bargain over wages.

Senator Randy Feenstra of Hull, voted for the bill, and says he has heard the criticism…..

Feenstra says state and local governments need to get a handle on rising insurance costs…..

Feenstra says despite the rhetoric, there was give and take in the debate….

Many school districts hurried to make contract agreements before the bill went into effect last Friday.
