The latest GOP healthcare plan to replace Obamacare is basically dead. Three Republican senators plan to vote no leaving them one vote short of passage. Omaha Insurance Agent Art Jetter says there were good elements to this replacement plan.

Without a replacement plan it appears that the current ACA program will continue and open enrollment starts in November. There is one insurance carrier on the Marketplace in Nebraska with projections that rates will increase about 17%. Omaha Insurance Agent Art Jetter says there is a reason so few are taking part.

Jetter says there is one more bill under consideration that increases funding for Obamacare so more insurance companies stay in the Marketplace.
