Members of the South Dakota House will have to decide on impeaching Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg when they return to Pierre on Tuesday.

Representative Caleb Finck of Tripp says they all have the reports from the Select Committee on Investigation…..

Impeachment is being considered in connection to the death of Joe Boever who was killed when Ravnsborg hit him on Highway 14 near Highmore in September of 2020.

Finck says the committee reports are very detailed….

Finck says they have to carefully consider the issues….

If a majority of Representatives vote to impeach Ravnsborg, the trial in the Senate would begin no earlier than May second.
