Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska members will gather in Broken Bow Friday for their annual convention. ICON Board Director and former State Senator Al Davis says one of their primary topics will be trade.

He says ICON members are concerned about the current trade war and expect to see negative impacts on the cattle industry soon.

Davis says they’ll also get an update on legislation from this year’s session of the Unicameral and will be hearing from Agriculture Committee Legal Counsel Rick Leonard.

Davis says they’ll also talk about Brand Committee changes and fencing laws.
