Sunday’s 9-4 win at Minnesota gave the Nebraska baseball team a series win over the Gophers in a showdown of two of the top Big Ten teams.
The teams had exchanged 5-3 decisions the first two days before the Huskers took the rubber match.
Nebraska is now 23-15-1 overall and 7-4-1 in Big Ten action. Minnesota falls to 23-12(8-4).
The two teams sit second and third in the league standings. Maryland, following a three game sweep of Michigan State, has a clear lead in the conference.
