The Fred Hoiberg era at Nebraska began Wednesday night as the new Husker coach guided his team to a 91-63 victory over Doane in exhibition play.

Dachon Burke Jr., a transfer from Robert Morris, had 15 points to lead five Huskers in double figures.

Burke hit six of nine shots from the field, including a trio of three pointers.
