Nebraska and Iowa will be favorites on the road this week as they open Big 10 Conference play.

The Huskers, now a member of the AP football top 25, will play at Northwestern after upsetting Oregon last week.

The Hawkeyes, removed from the ratings after a loss to North Dakota State, will travel to Rutgers.

Minnesota has a non league opponent as the Gophers host Colorado State.

Iowa State also has non conference play as the Cyclones entertain San Jose State.

Both South Dakota State and South Dakota have open dates a week in advance of their first Missouri Valley Football Conference games.
