The Women’s NIT basketball tourney will include some area teams besides the University of South Dakota.

Nebraska will host Northern Iowa on Thursday while Iowa will entertain Ball State the same night.

Minnesota gets a head start with a Wednesday game at home against Milwaukee.

Winners return for second round action which begins on Saturday.
