Tuesday night basketball brought victories for Nebraska, Iowa and Iowa State men.

Shavon Shields and Andrew White III each had 19 points and five rebounds on Tuesday night and Nebraska blew past Prairie View A&M in the second half for an 81-50 win.

Nebraska (8-5) led by as many as 16 in the first half, but fell behind Prairie View A&M 32-31 on Zachary Hamilton’s basket with 18:40 remaining.

Peter Jok scored 21 points on a career-high five 3-pointers to lead Iowa to an 85-63 win over Tennessee Tech on Tuesday.

Freshman Nicholas Baer added 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting off the bench and Mike Gesell had 10 assists for the Hawkeyes (9-3).

Georges Niang (NEE’-ang) led Iowa State with 24 points and 10 rebounds, but the 11th-rated Cyclones needed Abdel Nader’s 3-pointer with 11 seconds left to pull out an 81-79 victory at Cincinnati.
