Nebraska will open the NCAA volleyball tournament at home for the 11th straight year.
The Cornhuskers (20-9) on Sunday were selected as the No. 14 overall seed in the 64-team field and will play Hofstra of the Colonial Athletic Association on Friday. The match starts at 7 p.m., or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the other match in Lincoln, which pits Kansas State (22-8) against Utah (19-12).
Winners meet Saturday at 7 p.m., with the winner of that match going to the Seattle Regional on Dec. 12-13.
Nebraska is in the tournament for the 33rd straight year.
