Big Ten Conference play this weekend starts early with a Friday night game featuring Nebraska while area teams South Dakota and Minnesota have Saturday outings.

The Huskers won their league opener last week against Rutgers and travel to Illinois for the Friday matchup.

Minnesota hosts Maryland in Big Ten play Saturday.

South Dakota, now #10 in the FCS Coaches Poll, will visit Western Illinois to kick off Missouri Valley Football Conference action.
