Nebraska moved up to #16 in the latest Associated Press Football Poll following Saturday’s win over Northwestern.

Mississippi State remained at the top of the ratings while idle and Florida State retained the second spot after holding off Notre Dame in a battle of unbeaten.

Ole Miss, Alabama and Auburn round out the top five, giving the Southeastern Conference four of the top five positions.

Notre Dame slipped to seventh place.
