Creighton opened a double digit lead early and went on to an 83-67 win over Nebraska in Wednesday men’s basketball action in Omaha.

The winners improved to 6-3 on the season while the Huskers dropped to 6-4.

Andrew White tallied 28 points and ten rebounds for Nebraska.

The Huskers shaved an 18-4 deficit to 36-30 at halftime, but couldn’t keep Creighton from notching its fifth straight double figure win against their I-80 rival.
