Michael Woodworth went 5 for 7 to lead a Connecticut offense that collected a season-high 22 hits and the Huskies advanced to the NCAA Oklahoma City regional final with a 16-1 win over Nebraska in an elimination game.

Nebraska had beaten UConn in their first meeting in the tournament. Then the Huskers lost to Oklahoma State in the winner’s bracket.

The Huskies beat Oklahoma State on Sunday night and they will meet again Monday with a trip to super regionals on the line.
