Nebraska and Iowa State fell victim to conference foes in Monday night basketball action.

Keita Bates-Diop scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half and No. 13 Ohio State beat Nebraska 64-59, the fourth victory for the surging Buckeyes in the last eight days.

The back-and-forth game had seven lead changes in the second half. A pair of foul shots by Nebraska’s James Palmer Jr. cut Ohio State’s lead to four with 2:19 remaining, but the Cornhuskers couldn’t pull any closer.

Freshman Mo Bamba scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Texas over Iowa State 73-57.

The Longhorns led the entire way in a game they needed after a 35-point blowout loss over the weekend at No. 7 West Virginia. Kerwin Roach II added 22 points for Texas.
