Nebraska clinched its first Big Ten baseball championship over the weekend and will head up the league’s postseason tournament this week.

Minnesota and Iowa will also take part in the eight team field which will play at the University of Indiana.

The Gophers open the tourney Wednesday morning as the #3 seed against six seed Indiana.

Nebraska has a 5 p.m. game Wednesday against #8 seed Purdue while Iowa(#5) closes out the first day’s action against Maryland.

The tourney concludes Sunday and the league champ gets the Big Ten automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
