Huskers Advance In Dramatic Fashion

A dramatic ninth inning rally pushed Nebraska into the winner’s bracket as the Big Ten baseball tourney completed day one in Omaha.

The Huskers scored four runs in their final at bat to nip Ohio State 7-6. The second seeded winners will face Michigan State Thursday at 5 p.m.

Iowa and Minnesota will meet in the losers bracket of the double elimination tourney Thursday at 1 p.m.

The Hawkeyes lost to top seed Indiana 5-2 and the Gophers fell to Michigan 3-2.
