Both Nebraska and Iowa women’s basketball teams were beaten on their home courts in WNIT first round games Thursday.

The Huskers saw a six point lead entering the final quarter evaporate in a 64-62 loss to Northern Iowa. Nebraska finishes the season 18-13,

Iowa trailed by 16 points in the third quarter and saw their rally come up short in a 77-72 defeat at the hands of Ball State. The Hawkeyes finished 19-14 for the season.
