The most successful coach in Nebraska women’s basketball history is stepping down.
Connie Yuri has announced her resignation after 14 seasons at the helm of the Husker program. She posted a record of 280-166 with Nebraska.
The Lincoln Journal Star had reported that Yuri was the subject of an investigation into allegations that she mistreated players. Yuri denies any wrongdoing.
The Huskers went 18-13 this past season and were eliminated from the WNIT in the first round. Yori guided Nebraska to seven NCAA appearances in her 14 seasons and won two conference titles.
Newspaper reports said she had four years remaining on her contract.
