An SEC transfer and an Ohio prep standout are the latest two additions to the Nebraska men’s basketball squad.

Former Tennessee reserve forward Derrick Walker is transferring to Nebraska. Nebraska officials say the 6-8 Walker would sit out the 2019-20 season before playing for the Cornhuskers. Walker has two seasons of eligibility remaining. He averaged 0.8 points, 1.1 rebounds and 5.3 minutes for Tennessee this past season.

Ohio Mr. Basketball Samari Curtis will join the Huskers after averaging nearly 34 points a game at Xenia High School. The 6-4 guard finished his career with a school record 2,109 points. He had originally signed with Cincinnati.
