Minnesota Vikings cornerback Mike Hughes has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, ending a promising rookie season after six games.
Hughes was hurt in the fourth quarter of Minnesota’s win over Arizona. In addition to seeing extensive time in the secondary, Hughes has played frequently on special teams too.
This is the second straight year the Vikings have lost their top draft pick to an ACL injury in October, after losing running back Dalvin Cook last season.
