HSC Administrator Troy Jones to Resign

The Administrator of the Human Services Center in Yankton is resigning. Troy Jones says he will leave at the end of August for personal and family reasons.

Jones came to the facility in May of last year from New Mexico.

In an interview with WNAX News one year ago this week, he said he found great people and a fine facility…..

There had been a number of stories about injuries and assaults at the hospital. Jones said he wanted to work through those issues…..

The Department of Social Services will now begin the search for a new administrator, the fourth since 2011.
